Ken was very adept at taking our back of the napkin drawings and turning them into a design that is exactly what we were looking for. He was flexible in working with us long distance (AZ) and had great processes in place to keep us up to date and connect whenever necessary. Working with Mr. Risley has proven to be a truly wonderful experience! Ken looked at my unique commercial remodelling project in a whole new way and helped keep the project simplified...something not usually offered by an engineer. Ken offered some great input to the project and was instrumental in assisting me as I had to work with three different governing agencies and my client to complete the project. Additionally, as often is the case, the project did require a few modifications during the course of construction and again, Mr. Risley was able to provide me with his input on the changes along with some detailed research and the required construction drawings and did so in a timely manner.

We had a tough situation with requirements for a variety of structural issues as it concerned a 1960 wood frame home and wood frame addition. These issues concerned state zoning and county approval of building materials and installation methods used. The Engineer Designer, Ken Risley, was exceptional not only in his understanding of technical engineering issues and county code requirements, but also in the extremely relevant experience provided which helped us navigate through state and county requirements much more efficiently and effectively.
