We had a tough situation with requirements for a variety of structural issues as it concerned a 1960 wood frame home and wood frame addition. These issues concerned state zoning and county approval of building materials and installation methods used. The Engineer Designer, Ken Risley, was exceptional not only in his understanding of technical engineering issues and county code requirements, but also in the extremely relevant experience provided which helped us navigate through state and county requirements much more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the Engineer Designer was extremely professional in the timeliness of work product provided and the reasonableness of the fees charged for services rendered. Ken did a wonderful job designing our home renovation. He also was very helpful providing advice and direction upon obstacles we encountered while building our addition. I needed my plans done very quickly, we were closing on our home needed to start the building process directly after closing.
